The Midtown Global Market is a busy hub for both entrepreneurs and shoppers.

Decades ago, the huge Sears building in Minneapolis was a hive of commercial activity. But when it closed in the early ‘90s, the place stood abandoned. Today, the architectural giant—now called the Midtown Exchange—hums once more with the addition of 350 mixed-income apartments and condominiums.
