Our first employee was made possible by a Careership grant. Since then, ADC has had its newest employee participate in Careership. It has helped broaden their understanding of community development and expanded their network of colleagues in the field.

Growing Leaders

Growing Local Leaders

We've helped a diverse group of professionals start careers in community development

Since it began in 1998, Twin Cities LISC's Careership professional development program has graduated 91 new leaders. More than three-fourths of them now work in the field of community development, often in management positions.

Careership is one part of Changing the Face of Housing, a Twin Cities effort to increase participation by communities of color at all levels of housing production, planning, management, policy, and decision making.
