LISC helps CDCs become more effective.

From Twin Cities LISC’s founding 21 years ago when there were only a handful of local CDCs, a big part of our work has been supporting their growth and success.

Over those years we’ve invested more than $16 million in them, largely through our Twin Cities Fund for Neighborhood Development and Fund for Affordable Production. With our new funding structure for 2010 and beyond, the COACTION Fund, we will continue our commitment to this investment in the community. In addition, we offer specialized technical assistance and training to local CDC staff.

Through the years, TC LISC has played an important role in helping Twin Cities CDCs mature, multiply, and achieve remarkable results.
