The Center for Changing Lives will bring the necessities of life to one place for struggling families.

Offering social services in areas where there isn’t adequate housing is as ineffective as providing housing without adequate social services. The new Center for Changing Lives and Park Avenue Apartments bring those two together in a $28 million service center and housing initiative to promote the well-being of residents of the Phillips neighborhood and the whole community. Upon completion in 2008, the center will include 48 affordable homes and apartments, social services (including a wide array of financial services), a worship center, and conference spaces for events and training—and it’s a green project!
