Over the past 25 years, in addition to the $430 million we’ve invested in local projects through grants, loans and equity, we’ve leveraged another $1 billion to support Twin Cities community development.
We’re experts at spotting projects that promise the best return on investment for funders and the most positive impact for neighborhood residents. We provide early support when it’s hardest to find, and then leverage those initial investments to attract additional money.
So far, our investments have created affordable homes and apartments for more than 10,000 families and 1.5 million square feet of commercial space—equal to twice the size of the Xcel Energy Center—all in some of the Twin Cities’ most challenged neighborhoods.
