Many Rivers, designed for large families, features plenty of safe places for children to play.

Many Rivers is a mixed-use development—two buildings with three stories of rental housing over a single story of commercial space. The development was specifically designed to reflect traditional American Indian culture. In many American Indian families, multiple generations choose to live together. So Many Rivers is designed for large families with children. Apartment buildings have a private courtyard area that serves as play space for children and a gathering place for adults. Wide hallways open up to provide additional play and gathering spaces. Materials designed to lessen noise and last longer were used in the construction. Many Rivers features an affordable on-site childcare center, which also provides parenting education classes to residents.
