Giving children a better chance for academic success

These new homes help encourage family stability, which can lead to school success for children.

Neighborhood residents and school leaders played a big role in the development of 16 affordable rental units called Homes for Learning on St. Paul’s East Side. The purpose was to decrease the high level of student turnover and help children succeed in school by stabilizing their families and strengthening the area surrounding the elementary school.
